My next-door neighbor in Bahía de Kino as a chupa-religion. A former hard-core
barfly turned very enthusiastic Church Lady. She was all beat-up from a very hard life,
but she was kind, generous, desperately poor, but full to the brim with the sweetness of
life. I used to hear her praying in the outhouse. Her chickens called her by name.
